“Inequalities influence who develops cancer, when or if it is diagnosed, their access to treatment, and their chances of survival.
These inequalities exist between and within countries, but whether someone survives cancer should not be determined by where they come from.
The goal of EUCan-Ineq project is to measure these inequalities and identify priority areas for action, laying the foundation to tackle this key driver of the cancer burden.
