Estela Rodriguez, Associate Director of Community Outreach in Thoracic Oncology at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on X:

“Another population-based study showing the clear benefit of lung cancer screening in adults 40-74 including never smokers in China.

N=12,000, followup 7 years.

  • Significantly lower risk of LC deaths (HR 0.45)
  • Increased mortality benefit in women (HR 0.28)
  • more Stage I LC cases compared to control population. (85% vs 25%)
