European School of Oncology (ESO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We were honoured to join the 43rd Annual Benefit Dinner of the American-Italian Cancer Foundation (AICF), held in New York on 28 October: an event celebrating commitment to cancer research, prevention, and international cooperation.
Two distinguished awards were presented during the evening: the Special Recognition Award, given to Daniele Bodini for his remarkable contribution to public health and clinical excellence, and the Alessandro di Montezemolo Lifetime Achievement Award, awarded to Alberto Bardelli in recognition of his lasting impact on oncology education and care.
In his opening remarks, Daniele Bodini, Founder and Chairman of the ACP Group and Chairman of AICF, highlighted the importance of US-Italy collaboration in medical research and marked the centenary of Umberto Veronesi, AICF co-founder.
We were represented by Fedele Gubitosi (President), Alberto Costa (CEO), and Rossella Blasi (Executive Director), reaffirming our commitment to advancing oncology education and strengthening international dialogue among cancer professionals.
Our participation reflects ESO’s mission: improving patient outcomes through high-quality education, research, and global collaboration.”
