ESGO Stands with WHO on Cervical Cancer Elimination Day

European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Today, November 17, marks the World Health Organization’s World Cervical Cancer Elimination Day.

This builds on a global movement that began in 2020, when 194 countries collectively committed to eliminate a cancer for the first time and WHO launched a global strategy to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer as a public health problem.

ESGO and ESGO ENGAGe are proud to support WHO in the worldwide strategy to eliminate this preventable disease.

Learn more about this awareness day and how you can get involved.”
