Erika Hamilton: So Important to Really Understand Clinical Trials Before You Get Diagnosed With Cancer

Erika Hamilton, Director of Breast Cancer Program at Sarah Cannon Research Institute, shared Sarah Cannon Research Institute’s post on LinkedIn, adding:

“So important to really understand clinical trials and what they offer before you or your loved one is diagnosed with cancer.

So many misconceptions around clinical trials, another common one is that trials are for when there aren’t treatments left. So untrue! Essentially at any point in the cancer spectrum!”

Quoting Sarah Cannon Research Institute’s post:

“Clinical trials play a vital role in advancing cancer care – and understanding them can open the door to new possibilities.
