Erick Mahatara, Ambassador and Scholar at Cancer Fight Tanzania, shared a post with a video on LinkedIn:
“While systems deliberate, we continue the work on the ground taking health education to those who need it most: primary and secondary school students, women, and communities.
We advocate for what prevents cervical cancer before it begins: HPV vaccination for girls aged 9–14, voluntary screening for women, and clear, practical health education that removes myths and fear.
Because prevention does not start in policy rooms. It starts with us.
Inaanza na mimi. Elimika (Be Educated). Jilinde (Protect your self). Jichunguze (Check yourself)
This is a call for everyone to take part, learn, act, protect, and pass the message forward.”
