Eric Small Calls on Lawmakers to Make Telehealth Flexibilities Permanent
Eric Small, 2025-26 ASCO President, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“WRITE YOUR LAWMAKERS! MAKE TELEHEALTH FLEXIBILITIES PERMANENT!
ASCO and more than 350 health care organizations sent a letter to Congress urging the extension of Medicare telehealth provisions before they expire on September 30. The letter emphasized the need for at least a two-year extension to ensure that patients and providers have continuity of care and operational stability. The bipartisan support for telehealth is highlighted in the letter, as telehealth is a vital tool for providing access to care, particularly for people in rural and underserved areas. For those of you who live in the US: please write your senators and representatives today – it’s time sensitive!”
Robin Zon, President of ASCO, 2024-2025, shared this post, adding:
“Absolutely critical to send your letters to your representatives!! Your voice matters!”
