Enrique Grande: IBCG Drives New Thinking in Bladder Cancer Treatment

Enrique Grande, One Oncology Madrid Program Director at Quironsalud, shared on LinkedIn:

“Houston. The International Bladder Cancer Group.

Every time this community gets together, I leave with more questions than answers – and that is exactly why it matters.

Bladder cancer is moving fast. The perioperative landscape has been rebuilt in under two years. New agents, new combinations, new questions about sequencing, response adaptation and organ preservation.

And behind all of it, the same challenge we have always had: identifying the right treatment for the right patient at the right moment.

What I value most about the IBCG is not the presentations. It is the conversations that happen around them. The debates that do not make it into the slides.

The moments when someone asks the question everyone is thinking but nobody has put into words yet.

That is where the real work happens.

Grateful as always to Ashish Kamat and the entire IBCG team for creating this space. And to the colleagues and friends who make every edition worth the journey.

The bladder cancer community is small. But it punches well above its weight.”
