Emmeline Lee: Impact of Breast Density Notification on Interval Cancers

Emmeline Lee, Director at BreastScreen WA, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:

“Happy to share our article on the Impact of Breast Density Notification on Interval Cancers, published in RANZCR’s Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology this week.

This is of course especially important with Breast screen Australia’s new guidelines on Breast Density reporting.

I am proud that BreastScreen WA was a pioneer in Breast Density reporting (since 2007!) – this article shows the impact that this has had for Western Australian women.

Thanks to A/Prof Jennifer Stone, Dr Gareth Porter and Ross Marriott for their hard work on this.”
