Emma Krienke: New Therapeutic Strategies for B-Cell Leukemia and Lymphoma

Emma Krienke, Chemistry Student on a Pre-Medical Track at St. Olaf College, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I’m excited to share that I will be joining Dr. Mark Murakami and his team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute this summer for a research internship. The Murakami Lab is a translational B-cell leukemia and lymphoma lab, with the goal of advancing our understanding of these diseases and developing new therapeutic strategies.

I will be working with Dr. Uday Aditya Sarkar on the follicular lymphoma translational research team. Our work will center on evaluating potential combination strategies for CD3xCD20 bispecific antibodies with the aim of better understanding and modulating the tumor-supportive immune microenvironment.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of cancer therapeutics and to build on my previous experience in natural killer cell immunology research from last summer.”
