“As I close out my year as a research fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I am incredibly honoured to have received the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Clinical Research at this year’s Department of Surgery Fellow Graduation. This award recognises the research fellow who has made outstanding contributions to clinical research during their fellowship year.
I have been fortunate to be part of such a supportive department, and I am especially grateful to my mentors, Dr. Ian Ganly and Dr. Snehal Patel, for their guidance throughout the year. I also want to thank the entire Head and Neck faculty and clinical fellows, who have been so generous with their time, support, and mentorship.
I am excited to return to School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin for my final year of medicine, and I look forward to sharing the work from this year as it gets published.”
