Emily Denton: Honored to Speak on Advances in Sickle Cell Gene Therapy at APHON 2026

Emily Denton, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Honored to have been selected as a speaker at APHON’s Annual Conference this fall. Throughout my 17 years in nursing I have cared for young persons with sickle cell disease.

For the last few years I have had a front row seat as gene therapy for sickle cell disease has gone from the bench to the bedside. I look forward to sharing advances in sickle cell gene therapy and promoting high quality nursing care for these young persons with sickle cell disease with those in attendance.

Come visit Memphis, hear me speak, and celebrate 50 years of Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) with me this September.”
