“I wanted to share a quick update following my previous post about Emilia’s London Marathon challenge.
Because of the incredible kindness and generosity of so many of you here, Emilia didn’t just meet her fundraising goal, she smashed it!
She has now raised over £5,000 for The Institute of Cancer Research, which is double her original target.
To everyone who clicked the link, donated, or shared my last post: thank you. Your support was a huge motivation during her training and especially during those final miles on Sunday.
Emilia crossed the finish line in 3 hours and 52 minutes, hitting her target time and running a sub-4 race as planned. It was the result of months of disciplined training and planning, which, as many of you runners know, is gruelling and grim during the dark, wet, wintry months that this preparation takes place.
We are so grateful for your part in supporting such a vital cause.”
