Emanuela Palmerini, Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Congratulations!
Your work is among our most widely read papers — over 3,500 views in one year!
I received this email this morning, complete with a confetti effect.
This reflects the need for data in immunotherapy in osteosarcoma, Ewingsarcoma and chondrosarcoma.
The picture on the side of the certificate was taken this week: researchers shown here in a funny moment (we couldn’t get everybody in the frame!).
It was during one of the several meetings of our translational team of this clinical trial (https://lnkd.in/eGP-AayX), where we work to better understand the tumor microenvironment to predict response to treatments.
It is always difficult.
Samples are note enough.
Quality Check not passed for most.
Budget limited.
But I am grateful for the time and the commitment of everyone and I want to take the opportunity to thank and congratulate back all the people who contribute to the translational work: the patients donating their samples, the surgeons and IR team, the nurses, the investigators, the regulatory and administrative teams, and the researchers shown here.”
