“Then retrospective study presented at RSNA 2025 revealed that across seven outpatient facilities in New York, 24% of all breast cancers diagnosed over 11 years occurred in women aged 18–49.
- 1,799 breast cancers in women 18–49 (2014–2024)
- 41% detected on screening, 59% on diagnostic workup
- 80.7% invasive, 33% high-grade․”
