“We are pleased to welcome Tomislav Sokol, Member of the European Parliament (Croatia), to ELLOK’s 3rd Synergies Forum on Cancer Policy, Research and Funding Strategies.
Mr. Sokol will participate on the first day of the Forum, Monday, 29 June 2026, in the panel discussion titled “Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) – Challenges, Continuity, Alternative Funding Streams”.
The discussion will focus on the new MFF 2028–2034 and the key challenges and opportunities emerging across Europe, with particular attention to ensuring sustainable investment in health, cancer research, innovation, and equitable access to care.
As Europe prepares its next long-term budgetary framework, the session will explore how funding priorities can support resilient healthcare systems and advance the goals of the European cancer agenda.
