With over 200 peer-reviewed publications and extensive contributions to clinical trials, translational research, and international guidelines, Dr. Smyth’s expertise continues to shape the global oncology landscape.
She currently serves as Chair of the EORTC – European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer GI Trials Group (2024–2027) and the ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Guidelines Committee, alongside numerous leadership roles advancing GI cancer care.
