“I’ve been posting quite a bit about teamwork in support of my American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) presidential theme: Intentional Teams. Exceptional Care.
I’m fortunate to be part of an amazing team in the Division of Breast Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute —and our APPs are truly part of the ‘secret sauce’ that makes our team work.
Last week, we had the chance to step away from the clinic and OR and celebrate this incredible group at Topgolf Boston. A fun evening, some impressive (and perhaps not-so-impressive!) golf, and most importantly, time together outside of work.
Intentional teams don’t just happen. They’re built through shared purpose, mutual respect, and taking the time to connect and celebrate one another.
