Elizabeth Awo-Ejeh: World Cancer Day 2026 – United by Unique

Elizabeth Awo-Ejeh, Breast Cancer Survivor and Advocate, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“World Cancer Day 2026: United by Unique.

In 2022, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That season of my life changed how I saw health, life, and purpose. Along that journey, I came across Project PINK BLUE, and connecting with this organization meant a lot to me. They have continued to do important work in Nigeria’s cancer space… showing up, creating awareness, and standing with patients and survivors.

From 2022 till now, I’ve had the opportunity to attend World Cancer Day events with Project PINK BLUE, and each experience has been meaningful. I’ve met survivors, caregivers, doctors, and advocates, and one truth is always clear:
Cancer does not affect just one person. It affects families, friends, parents, siblings, and entire communities. Even if it has never been your diagnosis, chances are it has touched your life through someone you love.

Cancer is a global disease, and in one way or another, we are all connected to this fight.

That is why I’m inviting you to join us for World Cancer Day 2026 – United by Unique. The event will feature a community walk and free cancer screenings here in Abuja. It’s an opportunity to show support, learn more, and stand together in the fight against cancer.

If you’re in Abuja, please come out.
Bring a friend.
Bring your voice.

Register.

You can also follow and contact Project PINK BLUE on all social media platforms for more information.

I hope to see you on 7th February.
Let’s walk together.
Let’s speak up together.
Let’s fight cancer together.”
