“What an inspiring and productive week. The highlights:
- Great panel on ‘Beating Cancer from the Start‘ EFPIA – European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations Europes Choice Conference. I highlighted the importance of early detection, screening and HPV immunization, as well as of sustaining investment in the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework.
- Launch of the European Cancer Organisation Good Practice Guide on HPV vaccination in the European Parliament. Thank you to MEPs Romana Jerkovic, Tilly Metz, and Vlad Voiculescu for hosting the event. To read the Guide.
- Inspiring exchanges with lung cancer patients and survivors at the Inaugural Lung Cancer Europe Conference. In my address I outlined the catalyst role of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the EU Mission on Cancer to address the huge burden of lung cancer.
