“IARC Director Dr Elisabete Weiderpass was in Spain to present and analyse the preliminary results of the Spanish Colorectal Cancer screening program with the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer.
While there, she also met Prof Marina Pollán, Director of Instituto de Salud Carlos III, to discuss improving collaboration for cancer control.
