“‘This is a Glioma‘ is much more than an awareness campaign. It is an opportunity to put people living with these brain tumors at the center of the conversation, make their stories visible and bring clear and reliable information to the community. The initiative seeks to humanize diagnosis, break down stigmas and foster an informed community of support.
I want to thank Servier Argentina for inviting me to be part of this project and for giving us a space to talk about gliomas, molecular diagnostics, therapeutic advances, and the importance of raising awareness about this disease.
As a neuro-oncologist, I deeply believe that information is also a form of care. Every conversation that helps to better understand what a glioma is, what challenges patients face, and what opportunities precision medicine offers us today, is a step forward.
