Elena Serban, Medical Oncologist at Bucharest Oncology Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“There are presentations that inform us. And there are presentations that move us.
Today at American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), I had the privilege of being in the room as the RASolute 302 results were presented.
The standing ovation that followed was more than a celebration of remarkable data. It was a recognition of what those data could mean for patients facing one of the most challenging cancers in oncology.
As physicians, we are trained to focus on statistics, survival curves, and clinical outcomes. But in that moment, it was impossible not to think about the people behind the numbers-the patients, the families, and the hope they carry.
A truly emotional moment. One that reminded me why I chose this path and why progress in cancer research matters so deeply
Today, science felt personal․”
