“Elekta and Siemens Healthineers have signed a letter of intent to work on standards-based interoperability between their oncology platforms.
For healthcare providers using technologies from multiple vendors, exchanging and using information across systems can be complex. Through this intended joint effort, Elekta and Siemens Healthineers will explore how semantic interoperability could improve the exchange and consistent interpretation of information across their respective oncology platforms, while continuing to innovate independently.
We look forward to sharing more as the project progresses.”
