Providing Essential Medicines for Children With Cancer in El Salvador – ACT 4 Children

ACT 4 Children shared a post on LinkedIn:

“In El Salvador, ACT 4 Children works with Benjamin Bloom’s Children’s Hospital – the only hospital treating children with cancer in the country. The hospital treats over 450 patients per year and diagnoses ~200 new pediatric cancer cases each year, 40% of which are acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

By partnering with the hospital and our local partner, Help Me Live Foundation, we’re helping provide the essential medicines needed to give these children a fighting chance and close the survival gap for children with cancer.

Watch the video below to hear from medical staff and our coalition partners. Follow along for more insider access to life-saving care.”
