Egyptian Cancer Society – ECS shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A remarkable day of science, collaboration, and shared vision has come to a successful conclusion.
The Egyptian Cancer Society (ECS) Scientific Day at Africa Health ExCon 2026 brought together distinguished oncology leaders, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and industry partners from across Egypt, the region, and beyond to discuss the future of cancer care, research, education, and patient outcomes. In collaboration with the Egyptian Surgical Oncology Society and the Egyptian Society for liver Cancer.
Beyond the rich scientific discussions and exchange of expertise, the day marked two important milestones for the Society through the signing of strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs):
- Between the Egyptian Cancer Society (ECS) and AORTIC (African Organisation for Research and Training in Cancer), strengthening collaboration to advance cancer research, education, and capacity building across Africa.
- Between the Egyptian Cancer Society (ECS) and Siemens Healthineers, fostering cooperation to support innovation, healthcare transformation, and improved patient care through technology and scientific advancement.
These partnerships reflect our commitment to building sustainable collaborations that will help shape the future of oncology across Egypt and Africa.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all speakers, panelists, attendees, partners, and supporters whose contributions made this event a great success.
Together, we continue our mission to advance cancer care, empower healthcare professionals, and improve outcomes for patients and communities across the region.”
