Eftychia Tataridou, Medical Doctor at Theageneio Anticancer Hospital of Thessaloniki, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Thrilled to conclude the 8th Hellenic Oncology Conference with the presentation of two scientific contributions I worked on as part of the Radiation Oncology Department of Theageneio Anticancer Hospital of Thessaloniki
This year, my work focused on:
- cumulative cardiotoxic burden in modern breast cancer radiotherapy and the evolving role of DIBH
- a rare and severe Grade 4 myelosuppression event during standard chemoradiotherapy in IDH-mutant gliosarcoma.
I feel particularly honored that both projects were accepted with strong evaluation and presented within the scientific program of one of the most important oncology meetings in Greece.
What makes this experience even more meaningful to me is that, to my knowledge, this was the first time our department had such active scientific participation from residents at the Hellenic Oncology Conference — a milestone I am truly proud to have contributed to.
Special gratitude to Konstantina Boniou for her continuous mentorship, scientific guidance, trust, and support throughout this journey. Working under her leadership remains a constant motivation to pursue excellence in radiation oncology and academic medicine.”
