Edna Cukierman, Professor at Fox Chase Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“Von Hippel-Lindau Disease (VHLD) is a rare but serious inherited condition that predisposes patients to multiple forms of cancer. I’m proudisima to share that my colleagues Erica Golemis and Margie Clapper, along with team members Shabnam Pirestani, Emmanuelle Nicolas, and RobertBroadrup, at Fox Chase Cancer Center (Temple University – Lewis Katz School of Medicine), have just published a comprehensive review on the molecular defects underlying VHLD and recent advances in its treatment.
Their review ‘Recent advances in etiology and treatment of VHLD‘ reflects our institution’s leadership role in the National Cancer Institute (NCI)’s NCI CAP-IT.”
