Our new report brings together insights from different patient, clinical, research and policy communities. And one message came through clearly: trust must be the foundation.
That means transparent sources, rigorous quality assurance, regular updates and information that is easy to find, understand and use. It also means designing the platform around real patient needs, while complementing the national and local resources that already exist.”
The EU Cancer Information Portal Project: EU-CiP, shared ECO‘s post, adding:
”A new report summarises the findings of the April 2026 EU-CIP Stakeholder Co-Creation Forum, organised by the European Cancer Organisation (ECO) with the support of EU-CiP project partners.
‘Building a Trusted and Accessible Cancer Information Ecosystem in Europe‘
The event featured 136 participants, including patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, cancer organisations, policymakers, national parliamentarians and representatives of European institutions.”
