European Cancer Organisation (ECO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Survival in cancer care matters. But so do quality of life, emotional wellbeing, persistent symptoms, physical functioning and other treatment outcomes.
On 13 July, we will host a roundtable on Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), exploring what is holding Europe back from taking a global lead in this defining aspect of cancer policy.
The discussion will look at:
- Embedding PROMs more effectively in clinical practice
- Strengthening cancer clinical trials through patient-reported outcomes
- Using PROMs to inform policy, regulation and health decision-making
- Addressing the barriers that still prevent consistent implementation across Europe
Join policymakers, clinicians, patient advocates, researchers and healthcare innovators for a timely discussion on the next phase of patient-centred cancer care.”
