Ebony Boulware, Dean of Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Chief Science Officer at Advocate Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am so inspired by our visit to Advocate Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine colleagues in Chicago and Milwaukee this week!
Along with Julie Freischlag, Jennifer Sullivan, Terri Yates, Brenda Latham-Sadler, and Thomas Hansen I’ve spent the past 2 days connecting with outstanding colleagues at Advocate Health Christ, Illinois Masonic, and Lutheran General Hospital campuses.
We’ve had engaging discussions about the future of our Advocate Health National Academic Model, with Wake Forest University School of Medicine at its core. I’ve learned about nationally leading programs in Down Syndrome, cancer, neuroscience, heart and vascular disease care touching our Advocate Health National Service Lines––and about truly outstanding education and training programs. We’ve also had growth in clinical trials across our multi-state footprint.
I am thrilled to meet so many new faculty members and tomorrow I head to Advocate Health Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee to continue these conversations.
This is truly an exciting time at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and across Advocate Health!”
