MASCC 2025 Presidential Training Fellowship Spotlight: Dr. Wang Yanfei

OncoDaily highlights one of seven outstanding oncology leaders recognized with the MASCC Presidential Training Fellowship for their commitment to advancing supportive cancer care worldwide.

The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) Presidential Training Fellowship is one of the most prestigious honors for emerging leaders in oncology, recognizing early-career physicians and researchers who are redefining cancer care through innovation, education, and international collaboration. Each year, only a small group of exceptional individuals is chosen from around the globe to represent the future of supportive oncology.

As part of OncoDaily’s exclusive MASCC 2025 coverage, we are spotlighting this year’s seven fellowship recipients. Today, we feature Dr. Wang Yanfei, a leading oncologist from China whose work integrates cutting-edge research and clinical practice to transform supportive care delivery.

In addition to her clinical achievements, Dr. Wang is widely recognized as a passionate educator and mentor, actively training the next generation of oncology specialists. Her work emphasizes holistic care, multidisciplinary teamwork, and a forward-thinking approach to cancer treatment.

Her leadership extends beyond clinical research. Dr. Wang holds important positions within leading medical organizations such as the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), and the Chinese Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (CSPEN). Recognized by the Beijing Municipal Health Commission as a health science popularization expert, she has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and continues to advocate for multidisciplinary, value-based approaches to cancer care.

Her contributions align closely with MASCC’s Supportive Care 2030 ambition statements, which outline practical goals for improving supportive oncology worldwide.
