Douglas Flora, Executive Medical Director of Yung Family Cancer Center at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, President-Elect of the Association of Cancer Care Centers, and Editor in Chief of AI in Precision Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The Future Is Agentic
Hematologists know how to read a signal before it becomes a diagnosis.
Today in Miami, I got to share something I’m genuinely enthusiastic about – how rapidly these tools are advancing, and what that means for people who are already too busy caring for patients to waste time on anything that doesn’t deliver.
The ask was simple. Search ‘Claude CoWork’ on YouTube. Watch one hour video on the topic.
That’s the prescription. Because we are no longer talking about a chatbot you interrogate for answers. Agentic AI plans. It reasons. It executes multi-step workflows – the kind that currently eat your afternoons.
One hour. Hundreds of hours returned. Sharpen the saw – if you’ll forgive the cliché – before the work buries you in it.
Grateful to program chairs André Goy and Naval Daver for inviting me to deliver your keynote today – it was a great program and my pleasure to participate.”
