Douglas Flora: AI in Precision Oncology Call For Papers for our April and June issues

Douglas Flora, Executive Medical Director of Yung Family Cancer Center at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, President-Elect of the Association of Cancer Care Centers, and Editor in Chief of AI in Precision Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:

AI in Precision Oncology Call For Papers for our April and June issues.

The future of oncology isn’t just about algorithms. It’s about evidence.
The pace of innovation in AI is staggering. But as many of us in oncology know, an impressive algorithm doesn’t automatically translate to better patient outcomes.

There is a critical gap between computational potential and clinical reality. Bridging that gap requires rigorous validation, ethical oversight, and a relentless focus on what works in practice. That is why we launched AI in Precision Oncology.

We are building a home for research that moves beyond the hype to explore the responsible, evidence-based application of AI in cancer care. We need original research, balanced reviews, and challenging perspectives that bring data scientists and clinicians to the same table.

Our call for submissions is now open. If your work is driving the responsible future of cancer care, we want to give it a platform.

See the full scope and submission guidelines here.”
