Dillon Cockrel: Darolutamide Outperforms Enzalutamide in Cognitive Outcomes

Dillon Cockrel, GU Medical Oncologist at Duke Cancer Institute, shared a post on X:

ARACOG presented by Alicia Morgans compares cognitive decline and QOL for patients randomized to darolutamide vs enzalutamide with advanced prostate cancer.

MCCD cognitive test was ~36% lower at 24 weeks with enza, ~16% lower with darolutamide (p=0.009). All crossover patients (n=23) were enza daro.

Reflects clinical experience of enza side effects and better tolerability of daro, especially for frail or cognitively impaired patients.”
