“Thinking that there may be a pill somewhere in the world that could potentially keep me alive, while I haven’t found a way to reach it, is a difficult thought to live with.
I am posting this because I have spent almost a year looking for a clinical trial, and I am running out of time.
Some of you may know my story. I am a 35-year-old mother of two, and I have been searching for a clinical trial for my own cancer for almost a year. Now, I urgently need to find one.
I have KRAS G12D-mutant, MSS metastatic colorectal cancer, ECOG 0, diagnosed in 2022.
I am looking anywhere in Europe for a KRAS G12D, pan-KRAS, pan-RAS or other RAS-directed trial, Phase I, II or III.
The biggest challenge is that I am a liver-transplant recipient on permanent tacrolimus and everolimus, which excludes me from many studies. I am looking for a programme where my case can still be reviewed individually.
There are exceptional researchers and clinicians working on RAS biology across Europe. I believe someone may know of a path I have not found yet.
If you are a PI, investigator, early-phase unit, trial team or sponsor and think my case may be worth discussing, I would be grateful for a direct connection. My treating oncologist is available for physician-to-physician contact and my documentation is ready.
I am making this post because I want to keep every possible door open.

Update: I’ve had 25+ cycles with oxaliplatin and 50+ chemotherapy cycles in total (Folfiri, Folfoxiri and maintenance + bevacizumab). Chemo is currently stopped due to intolerance, and my CEA is rising. Lonsurf is next.
My team is great, especially my oncologist. They are doing everything they can. But accessing investigational treatment in Germany seems almost impossible in my situation. We tried.
