Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research is excited to share that the Ailani Myers Accelerating Innovation in Medicine (AIM) to Cure Kids with Cancer Act has been introduced in Congress!
It’s been a privilege to work with Congressman Michael McCaul and his staff on this important piece of legislation.
The bill is named for Rally kid Ailani Myers, a fierce, eight-time childhood cancer fighter and advocate who is only 10-years-old!
Today Ailani is thriving and enjoying the school year.
The Ailani Myers AIM to Cure Kids with Cancer Act connects the dots by bringing together functional precision medicine, molecular data, biomarkers, genetics data, and innovation by using AI to help doctors find the best treatment for each child, faster. Dots that Ailani’s parents, Kurt and Princecine, made sure they were connected for her. Every kid fighting cancer should have the same opportunity.
Thank you Rep. McCaul and Childhood Cancer Caucus co-chairs, Rep. Ami Bera, and Rep. Mike Kelly for introducing this bipartisan bill.
