Dean Crowe, Founder and CEO of Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Those are $38 Million smiles right there!
Big news for the childhood cancer community, Your voice matters! You helped Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research secure $38 million in funding from the Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program for children, adolescents and young adults.
Total funding secured through Rally’s advocacy efforts at the DOD now exceeds $356 million for critical childhood cancer research.
This is what happens when a community shows up. Thank you to our dedicated advocates, the legislators and their staffers who continue to listen, and every single person who has raised their voice alongside us. And a big shout out to Emma, June and PJ! It’s always an adventure being on the Hill with y’all.”
