“Some people spend their lives advocating for themselves. Meet Mikaela who spent hers advocating for other kids with cancer. She was fierce on Capitol Hill. Strategic, brave, and unafraid to speak truth to power. Mikaela recently passed away.
This week, her legacy lives on in legislation:
H.R. 1262 now the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act is on the House Suspension Calendar.
Here’s why it matters:
- Restores Creating Hope Vouchers to incentivize new pediatric cancer drugs.
- Allows access to modern drug combinations, including novel/novel and novel/existing therapies.
Kids don’t have time to wait. If you can, please take 3 minutes to honor Mikaela and act. Tell your U.S. Representatives you support H.R. 1262.
