David Chism: Honored to Have Attended the ASCO President’s Dinner

David Chism, Medical Oncologist at Tennessee Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:

”Honored to have attended the ASCO President’s Dinner hosted by Dr. Eric Small, connecting with colleagues, mentors, and friends from across the country.

This meeting holds special significance as my term as the inaugural Chair of ASCO’s Health Services Research Committee comes to a close. Serving in this role has been one of the greatest professional honors of my career. Together, our committee established the foundation for ASCO’s health services research agenda, focusing on issues that directly impact access, quality, value, equity, and outcomes in cancer care.

I am deeply grateful to the committee members, ASCO leadership, and staff whose vision, collaboration, and commitment made this work possible. Leading these efforts on behalf of patients and the oncology community has been both humbling and rewarding.

I look forward to continuing to advance cancer care through clinical research, health services research, and leadership service in the years ahead.

Enjoying ASCO Day 2 and all the opportunities to learn, collaborate, and reconnect.”
