We are proud to share a new WHO resource aimed at transforming how in vitro diagnostics (IVD) are developed for low- and middle-income settings. This target product profile (TPP) provides a clear framework for creating tools that are fit-for-purpose, whether for self-testing, instrument-free facilities, or point-of-care use.
By aligning design with the realities of resource-limited environments, we can accelerate access to life-saving diagnostic technology.
