“Don’t miss at ESMO25 the presentation by Teresa Profeta on financial toxicity amidst geographical disparities in patients enrolled in phase 1 clinical trials.
With the longitudinal use of the PROFFIT scale, the study will report on the complexities of centralized, highly specialized care, providing evidence to inform future policy, to formulate enhanced patient-centric clinical trial design.
As the new Regulation is enacted to enable trial participation by mitigating financial distress, the study will address remaining major unmet needs to champion in patient priorities!
