Danny Burke, CEO of ecancer, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We are proud to share that our open-access journal, ecancermedicalscience, received over 100 submissions last month, a new record for us.
The milestone reflects the extraordinary work by Mary Guevara Salas and Ellie Chapman. Their dedication to supporting researchers from low- and middle-income countries and other under-resourced settings is helping to build sustainable research capacity where it is needed most.
Through hands-on editorial support, mentorship, and a ‘pay what you can afford’ publishing model, they enable authors around the world to share high-quality evidence that can directly inform clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
We are incredibly grateful for their leadership and for the global community of authors who trust ecancer as a platform for their work.”
