Daniel Flora, Medical Oncologist and Medical Director of Oncology Research at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m really lucky to work in a cancer center where I can walk down the hall and ask a colleague what they think. Cancer care has become so complex that no one can know everything anymore, and over time we’ve all developed our own areas of focus. Melanoma and skin cancers are my main area, but I still take care of patients with other cancers as well. When a case is challenging or unclear, having colleagues who are willing to talk it through is incredibly valuable. There’s no egos here. People are open and genuinely want to help. This ultimately means better care for our patients.”
