Cynthia Cravo, Advanced BC Patient Advocate, shared on LinkedIn:
“Today I attended the 4th National Patient and Public Partnership Conference at Croke Park.
It was great to see the abstract I contributed to as a PPP with the National Screening Service, HSE come to life as a poster, reflecting the work NSS is doing to build meaningful and sustainable partnerships with patients and the public.
Meaningful partnership depends not only on inviting lived experience, but on supporting PPPs as equal contributors with clear roles and visible influence on decisions. It is a two-way learning process based on exchange, openness and respect for different expertise.”
