Curt Malloy, Sr Vice President, Strategic Operations at HDT Bio, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Dear friends and colleagues: I have a major announcement and a humble request.
This month I am making a very exciting – and deeply meaningful – trip to Guatemala! I will be traveling with leadership from The Max Foundation, where I am now the board chair, to meet with patients, country staff and public health officials.
First, the request – please consider supporting me by donating here:
I hate asking for money, but this is important. *Every single dollar* you donate will go to the Max Foundation mission, given that my wife and I are covering all travel costs.
If you know me well, you know that my passion for global wellbeing and health equity was born in Guatemala. Before going to graduate school I lived in Guatemala for almost two years, learning Spanish and working in a medical clinic. That time in Guatemala changed me forever. Seriously. And I mean it.
Over the coming weeks I will post items about the Max Foundation and about the trip. You will also see some pictures of me in my youth. It will be fun!
Please join me in this experience and please, please consider supporting The Max Foundation.”
Pat Garcia-Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer at The Max Foundation, shared this post, adding:
“At times like these, when funding for global humanitarian causes is in danger, the best antidote to dispare is to ‘do something’. Yes, these are challenging times, but yes, each of us can make a difference. Curt Malloy your commitment to action is humbling and I know every dollar raised will make a difference in the lives of those who need us the most.
Please consider supporting Curt Malloy‘s efforts on behalf of The Max Foundation. I just did.”
