“Today, the Global Colon Cancer Association is proud to stand with the Prevent Cancer Foundation for Get Your Green On, a national call to action during Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Month.
The data is clear: the 5-year survival rate for colorectal cancer diagnosed at an early, localized stage exceeds 90%. Yet too many people are diagnosed late, often because they did not know screening was an option.*
This April, we are amplifying that message globally, including in the UK, where April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. One cause. One community. One ask: get screened.
