“Physical activity, when delivered as a personalized and structured program, is now recommended by ESMO for patients with resected stage III or high risk stage II colon cancer.
ESMO’s updated recommendations, developed based on high-level evidence reported in the CHALLENGE trial, provide guidance on key aspects for implementing exercise program in clinical practice, with attention to patient preferences and the need for adequate infrastructure.
