“City of Hope is more than a name. It’s a community of people standing behind that hope. This weekend, the inaugural Strike Out Childhood Cancer game brought out the very best of Chino. It was so much more than a baseball game; it was about honoring our pediatric warriors, remembering the precious lives we’ve lost, and wrapping our arms around families still in the fight. Thank you for supporting City of Hope and Addi’s Blankets of Love.
Huge thank you to Andrea Fletcher, whose vision, heart, and tireless leadership rallied law enforcement, fire, healthcare teams, and our community to bring this day to life. A very special thank you to Dr. Saro Armenian and the pediatric team for showing up on and off the field, bringing world-class care and relentless compassion to our kids every single day.
Heartfelt thanks to Chief Kevin M. and the Chino Police Department, Chief Dave Williams and the Chino Valley Fire, Tricia Dinkle, Mayor Eunice Ulloa, Mayor Pro Tem Curtis Burton and city leaders, Orel Hershiser Chevrolet, Chino High Cheer, and every volunteer, explorer, donor, and family who filled the stands.
