“Surviving breast cancer treatment isn’t the full story.
There are more than 4.3 million breast cancer survivors living in the United States today, and many continue to navigate physical, emotional, financial and social challenges long after treatment ends.
As advances in breast cancer care help more patients live longer, the need for survivorship support continues to grow.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, City of Hope is highlighting the importance of survivorship care and honoring the survivors who are sharing their stories to create community, inspire hope and help others live well after diagnosis.
